Membership fees

Aaria Unemployment Fund’s membership fee for 2024 and 2025 is EUR 6.5 per month, i.e. EUR 78 for a year. If your membership begins or terminates during the year, you pay only the membership fee for those months, when your membership has been valid.

Our individual members receive a bill for their membership fees from us once a year. If you are an individual member and you have questions about your membership fees, you can contact our customer service.

If your membership with us is through your union, your unemployment fund membership fee is included in your union membership fee. If that is the case, your union can help you with questions about membership fees.

Remember that you also have to pay your membership fees for periods when you do not earn a wage, such as during a study leave, a parental leave or unemployment.

Unemployment fund membership fees are tax-deductible. We report all membership fee payments directly to the Finnish Tax Administration.

Aaria Unemployment Fund’s membership fees are set by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority each year.
