Mobility allowance and adjusted allowance
You can also apply for a mobility allowance on the basis of part-time work. This means that you can receive both an adjusted allowance and a mobility allowance at the same time. Mobility allowances granted on the basis of part-time work are only paid for days that you actually work.
Your income affects the amount of your earnings-related allowance but not the amount of your mobility allowance.
Example:
You accept a permanent part-time job. Your daily commute to and from work is more than two hours. You work three days a week and a total of 24 hours. We can therefore pay you a mobility allowance for three days a week. You are also entitled to an adjusted allowance.
